Job Title: Part-Time School Bus Driver We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Part-Time School Bus Driver to transport students safely and efficiently to and from school along assigned routes. This position offers consistent morning and afternoon work, ideal for candidates with mid-day availability. The successful candidate will operate the school bus professionally, ensuring punctual arrivals while adhering to all road safety regulations and school transport policies. Key Responsibilities Safely operate the school bus along assigned routes for student pick-up and drop-off Ensure students board and alight safely at designated stops Maintain punctuality and reliability in all assigned shifts Adhere to all traffic, safety, and school transport regulations Demonstrate patience, professionalism, and excellent communication with students, parents, and school staff Complete routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues Comply with background checks, Garda vetting, and medical assessment requirements Requirements Valid School Bus Driving Licence / CPC qualification (or applicable local certification) Clean driving record with proven defensive driving skills Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a calm, patient demeanor when working with children Reliability and punctuality essential Benefits Hourly rate: €15 per hour 16–20 hours per week (morning and afternoon shifts) Term-time work with regular, predictable schedules Full training and ongoing support provided Friendly, community-focused working environment
