Job Title: Excavator Operator Location: Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team in Carrick-on-Suir. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating excavators on a variety of civil and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for digging, trenching, grading, lifting, and material handling.
• Carry out site preparation, excavation, backfilling, and leveling works.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on machinery.
• Follow site drawings, instructions, and project specifications accurately.
• Comply fully with all health & safety regulations and site procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator / Digger Driver on construction or civil sites.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (required).
• Strong knowledge of site safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Full driving licence preferred.
