General Operator (Forklift Licence Required) Location: Co. Tipperary We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Operator with a valid Forklift Licence to join our team in Co. Tipperary. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse and operational activities, ensuring the safe handling, storage, and movement of materials while maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or logistics environment who is committed to working safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, and store materials.
• Carry out manual handling tasks safely, including lifting, moving, packing, and organising materials.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Support production and warehouse operations by ensuring materials are available when required.
• Complete routine quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain accurate stock movement and assist with stock control when required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and health and safety procedures.
• Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, tidy, and organised.
• Report equipment faults, damaged stock, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Licence (essential).
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate (essential).
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or logistics environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and confidently.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a positive work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
