Job Title: Relief Social Care Worker We are currently recruiting Relief Social Care Workers who are committed to making a lasting and meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people who require a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment in which to grow and develop. This role is ideal for a qualified Social Care Professional who is passionate about supporting young people and thrives in a dynamic, person-centred care setting. Our Services Centre welcomes applications from individuals who are motivated, compassionate, and dedicated to positive outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities Support children and young people in line with individual care plans and organisational policies Promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of service users Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team Maintain clear, accurate, and professional written and verbal communication Uphold safeguarding standards and best practice at all times Requirements Relief Social Care Worker: applicants must hold a relevant Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care (Support Staff roles require a minimum Level 5 qualification) Full clean driving licence (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with management and staff at all levels Strong teamwork skills with a flexible and cooperative approach Self-motivated and capable of working independently when required Benefits Competitive hourly rate: €17 per hour Double pay for bank holidays worked Pension scheme: 1.5% employer contribution and 1.5% employee contribution Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) available to staff and their partners Supportive working environment with opportunities for professional development
