As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers efficiently and accurately Ensure high levels of customer service at all times Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area Handle cash and card transactions in line with company procedures Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Comply with all health & safety and hygiene regulations Monitor customer alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary in accordance with licensing laws Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient bar operations Assist with setting up and closing the bar Requirements: Must be 18 years or older in accordance with the Intoxicating Liquor Act 2003 (Irish Law) Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays A positive attitude, good personal presentation, and a strong work ethic Desirable: Knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and bar equipment Certification in Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) or willingness to obtain one Working Conditions: Physically demanding – standing for extended periods, lifting stock, etc. Late-night shifts are standard, with some shifts extending past midnight Weekend and holiday work is essential due to business needs If you're a friendly, energetic individual with a passion for hospitality, we'd love to hear from you!
